1+1 Masterclass Singapore: China's Economy: Diagnosis and Perspectives
We cordially invite you to attend our exclusive 1+1 Masterclass on “China’s Economy: Diagnosis and Perspectives” in Singapore on April 18th, 2024.
About the lecture
China’s economy achieved 5.2% growth in 2023, but consumption, investment and exports all showed low growth performance. Moreover, for the first time in China’s reform and opening era, foreign investors withdrew investment from China, first in capital earning and portfolio investment, and then recently in foreign direct investment (FDI). Will China’s economy overcome these hurdles and return to a medium-high growth path? In this lecture, CEIBS Professor of Economics and Finance Xu Bin will provide his diagnosis of the current Chinese economy and offer his analysis of its future outlook.
