Growing by Localization: A Case in China’s Automation and Robotics Industry
Join us online on May 11, 2023, for this exclusive webinar on Growing by Localization: A Case in China’s Automation and Robotics Industry with Christoph Hupays, Senior Manager Localization & Operational Excellence, Schmalz China.
About this webinar
The automation and robotics sector is undergoing rapid growth worldwide. European manufacturers have long served China successfully with solutions for industrial manufacturing. However, as domestic innovation and development is gaining momentum, strategies need to be revised and adapted to thrive.
Join us for this webinar organized in partnership with China Netzwerk Baden-WÜrttemberg (CNBW), where we speak to one medium-sized, privately-owned enterprise about its recent experiences in the market. Schmalz is a market leader in complex vacuum gripping systems. We will hear how they manage their growth in the face of intense competition.
Faced with the need to move their operations, hear how they figured out how to plan and build a new China headquarters. Find out how they have learned from both east and west to successfully localise products to meet price and quality demands, and hear about what is happening “down on the ground” in automation, handling, and robotics. Join us to find out how SMEs can successfully generate growth in China’s automation market.
