CEIBS Executive Forum: Sensing Opportunities in the Uncertainties
Please join us for our upcoming CEIBS Executive Forum on February 22, 2023, with Mr. Teh-han Chow, Greater China CEO, Fonterra Co-operative Group, who will give a lecture on Sensing Opportunities in the Uncertainties.
About this event
COVID-19 has imposed profound changes and challenges on our lives and business across sectors. For companies with global footprints playing multiple roles in the value chain, it has also challenged the resilience of their operations, growth strategy and business model.
Moreover, three years of COVID-19 outbreak have affected our societies and economies around the globe and permanently reshaped our world as it continues to unfold. With the relaxation of COVID policy in China and the rest of the world, companies across different industries are all eyeing for and ready to fight for the next golden opportunities to fully recover and build back better.
As a co-operative group with multiple business units spanning ingredients, food service and consumer brand categories, it is crucial to be able to sense opportunities in advance, be agile and respond quickly to stand out from the competition.
During this lecture, Mr. Chow will walk participants through Fonterra Co-operative’s business model, key milestones in China, and the magical process of turning a glass of milk into various products. He will also share his learnings and insights on how to sense opportunities from both business and personal experiences.
In addition to the sharing, Ms. Carol Feng, Vice President, Greater China will briefly introduce Fonterra’s people strategy and young talent development programme. Mr. Chow and Fonterra management team will also join the Q+A session to answer questions from the participants. Fonterra chefs will also showcase their innovative and tasty food and beverages onsite which all use Fonterra ingredients and products.
