About this event

Since 2013, China has been the world’s largest e-commerce economy; creating and leading digital marketing trends, including livestreaming, KOL marketing, fintech innovations and New Retail. Chinese brands, many of which started from online, are soaring up each year to occupy top places in the global brand equity list as well. This fireside chat will offer an overview of such exciting digital trends in China – including China-specific media and channel trends that reflect Chinese consumer behaviors – and strategies companies have adopted to flourish in this dynamic market environment.

Following the fireside chat, participants are invited to find out more about current opportunities between Korea and China through an open Q&A with recent CEIBS alumni.

About our speaker

Dr. Hyun Young Park is an Associate Professor of Marketing at CEIBS. She earned her Ph.D. in Marketing from Stern School of Business (New York University) and her Bachelor in Business Administration, with highest honors, from Seoul National University. She has lived in Shanghai for nine years and now is the leading faculty for core marketing on the full-time MBA programme at CEIBS.
