During this event, Mr. Yuan Xiaolin, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, Volvo Car Group; President & CEO, Volvo Car Asia Pacific, will share with us the story of Volvo Cars’ development over a decade and offer his strategic insights into the mobility revolution. He will also shed light on the essence of development, innovation and management.

About the speaker

Mr. Yuan Xiaolin was born in 1969. He holds bachelor’s degrees in literature and law from China Foreign Affairs University and an EMBA degree from Tsinghua University. Mr. Yuan served successively in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and BP Group, UK.

In 2009, Mr. Yuan joined Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, in charge of its merger and acquisition of Volvo Cars. After the M&A completion in 2010, he joined Volvo Cars Group, serving as director of the chairman’s office and board secretary in its Swedish headquarters. In 2014, he returned to China to serve as president of Volvo Cars China. In 2015, he was appointed as acting senior vice president, Asia Pacific, Volvo Cars. On March 1, 2017, he moved into the management of Volvo Cars Group, serving as its senior vice president and president and CEO, Asia Pacific, Volvo Cars.
