Sabine Neuhaus
MBA 2022
Sabine, a Swiss national, is a classically trained pianist with a BA in classical piano from the Zurich University of the Arts (2008-2011), and a Swiss qualified attorney (2018) with a bachelor’s degree in law (2011-2014) and a dual degree (2014-2016) (Master’s and LL.M.) from the University of Zurich and the University of Hong Kong (all with distinction). Sabine is also a passionate musician, salsa dancer and skier. She is a native German and English speaker and is fluent in French and Mandarin (HSK 5+).
Sabine started her career with Homburger, a top Swiss law firm. As a member of the China Focus Group, she supported ChemChina in its $43 billion takeover of Syngenta. In 2019, with a long-term career interest in China, Sabine joined Huiye Law, the Chinese partner firm of Kellerhals Carrard – Switzerland’s second largest law firm – working in their Shanghai office. There, she managed complex Sino-Swiss M&A/PE deals, connected Swiss startups with Chinese investors, and negotiated joint ventures with Chinese SOEs. In 2021, Sabine was recognized as Business, Commercial and M&A Lawyer of the Year by Corporate INTL. She also serves as a board member of the Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

Archie Preston
MBA 2022
Archie graduated from the University of Cambridge with a first class honours’ Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Chinese Studies in 2009. He has spent over seven years in Greater China focused on cross border M&As and fundraising transactions, positioned at the juncture of Chinese and European business.
After graduating from Cambridge, Archie worked for four years in Hong Kong at a boutique corporate finance advisory firm Altus Capital, during which time he led five HKEx IPO applications as a sponsor. It was during this period that he became accustomed to managing large internal and external cross-cultural teams, coordinating work across Chinese mainland, Southeast Asian, European and APAC partners regularly. Following this, he worked for the HK-listed entity of a Chinese SOE, overseeing their overseas investment activities, entailing the identification, evaluation and execution of investment projects. Since 2019, Archie has been leading the China office of DealGlobe Limited, a specialist China-Europe cross-border M&A firm, personally completing six deals, including three successful $100m+ (USD) M&A and fundraising deals across the healthcare, TMT and consumer sectors.
