Please join us for our upcoming CEIBS Executive Forum on October 27, 2021, with Mr. Yihao Zhang, President & CEO of GE Healthcare China, a leading global innovator in medical technology and digital solutions, who will give a lecture on The Transformation of Multinational Companies in China.
The world is changing rapidly. Evolving consumer demand, climate change, disruptive technologies and uncertainty about the global economic recovery are all issues that companies have to carefully think about and deal with.
2021 marks a remarkable year for China as it enters a new stage. The country’s 14th Five Year Plan comes at a major turning point, as China seeks to execute massive economic change amidst unprecedented external uncertainty and increasing geopolitical tensions. “High Quality Development, “Dual Circulation,” “Rural Revitalization,” “Innovation Nation,” and “Healthy China 2030” are some of the key priorities on the agenda. What has worked well for MNCs in in China over the past two decades may not work in today’s context. Companies must remain agile and resilient in the face of tough competition and continue to adapt to and capture the speed of China’s growth.

About the speaker
Yihao Zhang is the President and CEO of GE Healthcare China. He is responsible for the company’s strategic development and business operations and driving the company’s long-term sustainable growth in the China market.
Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Yihao was Senior Vice President and President for China & APAC at Danaher Dental Platform. He began his career in finance with TRW in the US and Canada, and worked for P&G in brand management in the US.
Yihao Zhang holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Ohio Wesleyan University, an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a master’s degree in engineering management from McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University.
In September of 2021, Yihao was awarded the Shanghai Silver Magnolia Award by the Shanghai Municipal Government.
