CEIBS MBA programme offers a rich and diversified scheme of financial aid to qualified candidates. The following scholarships, funds and loans are available to CEIBS Full-time MBA students.

COMPANY-SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIPS

DSM Scholarship and Placement Initiative

Introduction 

Through DSM’s Scholarship and Placement Initiative, DSM is proud to support the full MBA tuition sponsorship for up to two incoming students at CEIBS. After graduation, the student will join DSM here in Shanghai, with a position focusing on commercial business including, but not limited to; Business Development, Business Planning. Digital marketing, Commercial Sales and or Channel Development. The detailed job description will be released during the evaluation process.

If awarded this scholarship, you will receive:

A 100% tuition fee waiver to do the full-time MBA programme at CEIBS 

A 10-week summer internship at DSM 

A post-graduation employment contract to join DSM in Shanghai

Eligibility: All newly admitted full-time MBA students with commercial background.

Air Liquide Scholarship

Scholarship Introduction 

CEIBS Air Liquide Scholarship is proudly sponsored by Air Liquide in the aim of helping outstanding MBA students on their study journey in CEIBS. Air Liquide Scholarship will finance two newly entering MBA students each with RMB200,000 each year from 2021 to 2025. The scholarship selection for each candidate will be based on both merit and financial needs. 

Eligibility: All newly admitted full-time MBA students with any management background.

DDI Scholarship

Scholarship Introduction 

DOI-Shanghai  Town  &  Country  Scholarship  is  proudly  sponsored  by  Mr.  Li  Hailin,  Chairman  of  DDI  Group  and  CEIBS  alumnus. Commencing in 2013, the DDI-Shanghai Town &  Country Scholarship will finance RMB150,000 of a new entering MBA student(two students per intake each year).

CEIBS FOUNDATION EDUCATION FUND

Liu Ji Education Fund
Education Fund Amount: RMB 219,000

The Liu Ji Education Fund awards one half tuition scholarship each year to support students from mainland China. The fund was established in 2006 by Prof. Liu Ji, Honorary President of CEIBS.

Wu Jinglian Education Fund
Education Fund Amount: RMB 100,000
Eligibility: All full-time Chinese MBA students.

The Wu Jinglian Education Fund awards up to 3 RMB100,000 scholarships each year to support students from mainland China with a demonstrated financial need. The fund was established in honor of Prof. Wu Jinglian, Bao Steel Chair Professor of Economics at CEIBS and senior research fellow at Development Research Centre of the State Council of P.R.C.

CEIBS MBA EDUCATION FUND

Highlight
The CEIBS Education Fund is designed to support students from developing regions of China to undertake their MBA study at CEIBS.

Education Fund Allocation
Up to 2 RMB180,000 education fund receivers and 2 RMB120,000 education fund receivers every year.

Eligible candidates should meet the following 2 conditions:
a. The candidate is a Chinese citizen
b. The candidate needs to demonstrate a strong association* with the developing region**
**Definition of developing region: Provinces with a GDP per capita below the country average are considered “developing” regions. In 2020, these were Anhui, Gansu, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Henan, Hunan, Jiangxi, Jilin, Liaoning, Neimenggu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Sichuan, Xinjiang, Xizang and Yunnan
*Definition of strong association with developing region are those who; -Were born or have a hukou in the above mentioned provinces, or -have worked or studied there for 2 years or longer
Applicants are required to write an essay (see the essay questions in the Education Fund Application Form) to explain their association with the less developed province. The information provided in the essay will be verified by our evaluation team.

CEIBS TALENT LOAN PROGRAMME - DISHUIQUAN

Objective
Launched in October 2015, CEIBS Talent Loan Programme - Di Shui Quan, was initiated by CEIBS as the complement of school's existing scholarship system. The name originates from an ancient Chinese saying about how modest sums of money can accumulate over time to become a powerful force, similar to tiny drops of water growing into a large lake. The goal is to ensure that qualified students do not miss out on the opportunity to benefit from the CEIBS MBA simply because they cannot afford the tuition. The project will enable us to raise funds from the CEIBS community through donations, and provide low-interest rate loans to MBA students through Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.

Loan Details
1. Maximum Loan Amount of RMB200,000 available with the interest rate of ZERO. All interest will be paid by CEIBS based on benchmark interest rate for commercial loans.
2. The loan amount will be disbursed directly to the school’s account.
3. The total repayment period will be 39 months including the duration of study.
4. Monthly repayment amount will be deducted from the bank account. Please ensure sufficient balance is available before the due date to avoid additional charges.
5. Di Shui Quan will provide a detailed repayment plan for reference.
6. CEIBS Degree Certificate will be retained until the loan has been cleared.

ICBC CREDIT CARD INSTALMENT PLAN

Every student of CEIBS can apply ICBC education instalment plan without mortgage with maximum of RMB350,000.

Application requirements:
- Copy of ID card
- Admission offer from CEIBS
- Last 12months income status before resigning (account details, tax list, proof of income)
