"It was my second year to be based in Shanghai in 1997, a very memorable year for a person from Hong Kong. It was the first time for me to sit in a class together with many students from the Chinese mainland and I found myself pleasantly accepted by my classmates from various parts of China. Apart from learning what a Global EMBA class should learn, it was also a pleasure to get to know such a great class of high quality classmates. As I advance in my career path, I begin to realise how lucky I was that I studied my Global EMBA at CEIBS, because the subjects learned during the classes have proven to be helpful to my work. Apart from the personal value I got out of the programme, the added benefit to all of us is that the reputation of CEIBS has been escalating over these years and we are seen as students with foresight to have joined CEIBS in its early days.
