Jiang, Yuan
Associate Professor of Management, CEIBS
Dr. Yuan Jiang is an Associate Professor of Management of CEIBS. Prior to joining CEIBS, he was a member of the faculties at Indiana Purdue University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and Sun Yat-Sen University. He is an adjunct faculty at emLyon Business School and a doctoral advisor at Business School of Sun Yat-Sen University.
Dr. Jiang’s research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Human Relations, Human Resource Management, IEEE Transaction on Engineering Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management and Journal of Organizational Behaviour. He is currently associate editor at Frontiers in Psychology and an editorial board member for Human Relations, and was a guest editor for Journal of General Management and Complexity. His prior professional services include chair for International Human Resource Management Scholarly Research Award Committee in Academy of Management, and member of “Fourteenth Five-Year Strategic Plan” working committee (in charge of OB & OT Division) in National Science Foundation of China. He has been principal investigator or participant of multiple grants from both National Science Foundation and National Social Science Foundation of China.
Dr. Jiang won Best Reviewer from Quarterly Journal of Management in 2020, International Human Resource Management Scholarly Research Award from Academy of Management in 2016, finalist for the Best Conference Paper Award – Micro Paper Track at the International Association for Chinese Management Research Conference in 2014, and Best Reviewer in OB Division of Academy of Management in 2008. In addition to his research, he has been recognised for his excellent teaching at various levels and has won the University Candle Light Teaching Award from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the First Prize of Shanghai MBA Case Teaching Competition. He has consulted and provided training for many companies from various industries in China.
