Dr. Feida Zhang is Associate Professor of Accounting at CEIBS. Prior to joining CEIBS, Dr. Zhang has held appointments at several leading universities, including University of Queensland, Murdoch University, and Sun Yat-Sen University. Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D. in Accounting from Hong Kong Baptist University, M.S. in Accounting from Xiamen University.

Dr. Zhang’s research interests mostly focus on financial management and decision making, corporate governance, capital market, corporate social responsibility, corporate finance, etc. His publications have been appeared on world leading academic journals including Journal of International Business Studies (UTD Top 24 and FT Top 50, 2 papers), Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (FT Top 50), Journal of Business Ethics (FT Top 50, 3 papers), Journal of Corporate Finance (3 papers), European Accounting Review (2 papers), and Chinese top journals Management World and Accounting Research. Dr. Zhang’s papers are awarded with Best Paper Award several times on world leading academic conferences for instance AAA (2013, 2016) and AFAANZ (2016) annual meeting. There is a total number of 40 papers published since Dr. Zhang’s academic career, several other working papers are now under review at different stages. 

Dr. Zhang has teaching experience for decades at different levels, including financial reporting, strategic financial management, value investing, financial statement analysis, corporate governance, etc. Dr. Zhang now also serves as the committee member of Global Chinese Accounting Association (GCAA), Editorial board member of Accounting and Finance and The Chinese Economy, and the Referee of Organization Science, Management Science, Journal of International Business Studies, European Accounting Review, Journal of Business Ethics, and so on.
