Mr. Huang holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and works as a professor, director physician and PhD tutor. He has been engaged in the clinical practice, teaching and research of hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeries for a long time, renowned for remarkable attainments and academic influence in related fields. He used to work at the First Affiliated Hospital of School of Medicine, Zhejiang University and Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital affiliated to the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University.

He is currently President and Deputy Party Secretary of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital and Deputy President of Hangzhou Medical College. He is also Deputy Director of the Human Resources Management Committee, Chinese Hospital Association; Deputy Director of the Medical and Health Management Committee, Society of Management Science of China; Deputy President of the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital Association; Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Anti-Cancer Association; Deputy Director of the Surgery Division, Zhejiang Medical Doctor Association; Director of the Tumor Surgery Division, Deputy Director of the Surgery Division, and Director-Designate of the Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Medicine Division, Zhejiang Medical Association. He sits on the editorial boards of HBPD INT, Chinese Journal of Transplantation and other core journals at home and abroad. He was named one of the Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions to National Health and Family Planning and one of the Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions in Zhejiang. He enjoys special allowances from the State Council and was honored as Excellent Hospital President of China and Hospital President with Exceptional Leadership.

Mr. Huang is engaged in over 10 research projects at national, provincial and ministerial levels and has published more than 100 papers in several SCI journals and major Chinese journals. He has won the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, First Prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award twice, and Third Prize of Zhejiang Pharmaceutical Technology Progress Award thrice.
