The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) invites applications for the following faculty position with our Strategy and Entrepreneurship Department:

• One position in Entrepreneurship (seasoned Assistant Professor or above)
  Ideal candidates must hold a PhD (or equivalent degree) in a field related to Entrepreneurship, have a demonstrated capacity for high-quality research, and a strong commitment to teaching excellence in Entrepreneurship or related topics such as strategic transformation . Preference will be given to those with relevant teaching experience with MBA and Executive students. Past experiences in teaching executive programmes and programme directorship will be highly valued.
   
• One position in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, or International Business (fresh PhD or seasoned Assistant Professor)
  Ideal candidates must hold a PhD, or be expected to complete a PhD by the time of appointment, in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, International Business, or a closely related field (such as AI or transformation). Candidates should demonstrate strong research capability and clear potential to produce high-quality research, consistent with the standards of leading business schools. The position features a staged teaching-load arrangement, with a significantly reduced teaching load in the initial three to six years for newly appointed Assistant Professors to support the development of a strong research pipeline. Promotion will be evaluated with high expectations for sustained, high-quality research output and demonstrated progress toward teaching competence. For seasoned Assistant Professors, evidence of publications, revise-and-resubmits, or a strong pipeline at top-tier journals, will be highly valued.

Faculty compensation is internationally competitive and commensurate with qualifications. In addition to the base salary, CEIBS provides our faculty with an adequate housing allowance, an international school education allowance for children, international private medical insurance, and a private pension plan. Additionally, the school offers generous research funding, teaching load reductions or bonuses for high-calibre scholarly publications. CEIBS’ working language is English, and CEIBS faculty can choose to be based in Shanghai, Beijing, or Shenzhen in China.

About the Department
The Strategy and Entrepreneurship Department includes faculty with diverse disciplinary backgrounds, including management, strategy, entrepreneurship, and international business, who share a passion for studying business phenomena in China from multidisciplinary and multilevel perspectives. Faculty research spans a wide range of topics such as corporate strategy, corporate governance, competitive strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation, new venture internationalization, MNC management, non-market strategy, sustainability management, and many others. Our faculty include editors in major academic journals and officers in various professional associations. Our faculty also publish regularly in top management and entrepreneurship journals, including Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of International Business Studies, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Research Policy, Organization Science, and Organization Studies, among many others.
