CEIBS Alumni

Formed by a group of chorus enthusiasts on May 8, 2013, the CEIBS Alumni Chorus (Shanghai) is a member of the Chorus Committee of the Shanghai Musicians Association. As of 2019, the group has 48 members. So far, the group has performed in Mainland China, Taiwan, Italy and South Africa. The chorus has also won the silver award at the World Choir Games. The group’s vision is to be the top chorus amongst business schools in Asia. The chorus’ Chief Conductor & Art Director is Hong Chuan. The chorus has four divisions, each with a leader to assist the Chief Conductor. There are seven council members in the chorus. The President is Ms. Cheng Jianyu (CEIBS EMBA 1996), the Secretary-General is Ms. Cao Shuli (CEIBS EMBA 2011), and the Art Director is Wang Zuoxin, a professor in the Musical Theatre Department at Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
