2025 CEIBS MBA Recruitment Fair: What Talent Is Needed
In a rapidly changing world, what career opportunities can a recruitment fair offer? Recently, at the annual recruitment fair organised by the CEIBS Career Development Centre (CDC), nearly 60 renowned companies engaged face-to-face with CEIBS MBA students. Of these, 55% were multinational corporations, while 45% were local Chinese firms, and 60% of the companies were founded or employed CEIBS alumni. Additionally, 12 companies participated in the fair for the first time. This event was not just about matching talent with job opportunities; it also represented a continuation of many long-term partnerships and the beginning of new collaborations.
Through this recruitment fair, we witnessed several fascinating interactions, demonstrating how CEIBS MBA leverages high-quality education, the power of alumni resources, and a systematic knowledge framework to facilitate mutual growth for students and companies alike.

Long-Term Partnerships: Choice and Trust
Consistent Recruitment, Regardless of Market Conditions
Every year, numerous well-known multinational corporations (MNCs), such as GE Healthcare and Amazon, come to CEIBS to recruit, consistently offering internships and full-time job opportunities. Even amidst global market uncertainties, these long-term partners continue to choose CEIBS MBA students, valuing the systematic knowledge framework and international perspective that CEIBS cultivates.

CEIBS Career Development Centre (CDC) commented: "Long-term partner companies are a core highlight of the CEIBS MBA Recruitment Fair, reflecting employers' high recognition of the quality of CEIBS talent and providing students with ongoing and stable high-quality career opportunities."
New Companies Inject Fresh Energy
Opening New Possibilities for Career Transitions
This year's recruitment fair welcomed new faces, including companies like Peet's Coffee, that participated for the first time. Their involvement provided students with more opportunities across various industries and further demonstrated the broad industry appeal of the CEIBS MBA programme.

CDC:" The presence of first-time participating companies not only expands students' choices but also illustrates the CEIBS MBA programme's ongoing efforts to explore new industries and attract a diverse range of companies for collaboration."
International Perspective and Local Understanding of Outbound Enterprises
Connecting Talent Globally, from China to the World
During this recruitment fair, several companies opened outbound positions specifically for CEIBS MBA students. Domestic firms like Yuwell and Trip.com Group, for example, not only seek talent with an international perspective but also require a deep understanding of the Chinese market.

CDC: "The opening of these outbound positions reflects the dual expectations companies have for CEIBS MBA students: a global mindset with strong language skills, coupled with a profound understanding of the Chinese context. This unique combination is what gives CEIBS students and graduates a competitive edge."
The Power of Alumni Enterprises
Solid Support for Career Development
CEIBS alumni actively support their junior counterparts by providing job openings, providing resources, and sharing their experiences, helping them swiftly adapt to industry demands and achieve career advancement. The enthusiastic involvement of alumni enterprises exemplifies a spirit of "applying what we learn and giving back to CEIBS."

CDC: "The support from alumni enterprises is a vital component of the CEIBS MBA career development ecosystem. They not only provide opportunities but also facilitate continuous progress for students in their careers through experience sharing and resource collaboration."
Focusing on Entrepreneurial Spirit
Selecting Like-Minded Partners with an Entrepreneurial Perspective
At this year’s recruitment fair, many companies showcased a unique recruitment philosophy centred around selecting like-minded individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset. These businesses not only focus on candidates' professional skills but also seek those who possess entrepreneurial spirit and long-term growth potential.

CDC: "This recruitment philosophy reflects the demand for versatile talent in the face of a complex and ever-changing economy. Companies are not only looking at candidates' hard skills but also seeking individuals with comprehensive qualities and a sense of responsibility who can explore new frontiers alongside the organisation."
The CEIBS MBA programme helps students develop problem-solving skills, resilience in the face of competition, and the courage to drive change through rigorous admission standards, an internationalised curriculum, and comprehensive career development support. These qualities are key to attracting companies and form the foundation of CEIBS' ongoing value creation within the global business world.
