Introduction
In 2024, China’s total merchandise trade reached a record high of RMB 43.85 trillion, representing a significant milestone in the country’s trading history. Chinese enterprises have concurrently revitalised their activities in foreign investment and mergers, particularly in sectors like new energy vehicles, consumer electronics, cross-border e-commerce, and culture. These industries are expanding globally through technological advancements and branding strategies; despite this progress, however, obstacles such as deglobalisation trends, tariff barriers, and cultural clashes are continue to act as hurdles for Chinese companies venturing abroad. In a transformed global economic landscape, how can Chinese firms overcome geographical barriers and successfully navigate the challenges and opportunities of this new era?
Centred on three main themes – strategic breakthroughs, resource realignment, and cultural integration – this modular programme explores four essential pillars of globalisation: innovation-led growth, brand elevation, supply chain partnerships, and localised operations. Offering a distinctive dual-track immersive learning approach that includes visits to prominent local companies and study tours abroad (Vietnam/USA), the programme equips entrepreneurs with fresh perspectives, innovative concepts, and practical insights for developing and implementing global strategies. Led by renowned CEIBS faculty and enriched by insights from accomplished entrepreneurs and industry leaders, the programme also examines real-world case studies from global trailblazers like Joyoung, Man Wah, Chervon, Transsion, and MINISO, preparing participants to capitalise on the next era of globalisation.
