Symposium on Economic Research of Central and Eastern Europe 2019

Morning Session: Closed-Door Research Seminar on Academic Cooperation between CEIBS ERICEE and CEE Business Schools

Background:

The Symposium on Economic Research of Central and Eastern Europe 2019 was co-hosted by China Europe International Business School co-hosted (CEIBS) and SINO-CEE Fund (CEEF) in November 2019. Central and Eastern Europe has become increasingly prominent in China's foreign relations. The “17+1” cooperation framework is a cross-regional cooperation platform voluntarily created by China and Central and Eastern European countries, and it has become an important part of, as well as a useful supplement to, China's relations with Europe. For the cooperation under the China-EU cooperation framework, it is essential to engage in pragmatic work, to promote economic development and people-to-people exchanges, to seek common ground while reserving differences, and to achieve global common development.
