CEIBS Global EMBA Immersive Experience in Shanghai
Ranked #1 in the world by Financial Times, the CEIBS Global EMBA programme invites you to attend our latest Immersive Experience, hosted at our Shanghai campus. Learn about international entrepreneurship, try an in-class interactive experience, meet our alumni, and discover how the programme can impact your career.
About the Event
This half-day event offers a unique and immersive experience of the CEIBS Global EMBA (GEMBA) classroom. The day begins with an insightful introduction to the GEMBA programme, delivered by one of our experienced Admissions Managers, providing a comprehensive overview of its transformative potential. Following this, a panel discussion with distinguished alumni will bring the programme to life as they share personal stories and reflections on their own GEMBA journeys, highlighting the lasting impact it has had on their careers and leadership capabilities. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with alumni during an informal lunch, allowing for meaningful one-on-one conversations to address any questions and gain deeper insights into the GEMBA experience.
In the final session of the afternoon, we are thrilled to present an interactive lecture on International Entrepreneurship by CEIBS Associate Professor of Strategy Shameen Prashantham. Entrepreneurship entails the pursuit of opportunities and is an arduous but potentially rewarding journey. When entrepreneurial ventures pursue cross-border opportunities — that is, when they pursue international entrepreneurship — then the challenge is potentially even greater. This is for two reasons: a new venture typically lacks the legitimacy of a more established company, and also has to deal with the novel business environment of international markets. This dual challenge is magnified in a turbulent world marked by geopolitical tensions. As such, international entrepreneurship is not easy; that said, through adept learning and corporate partnering, new ventures can increase their odds of success. This will be highlighted through key concepts and examples. Overall, an important takeaway from this session is the importance of adopting the right mindsets: entrepreneurial, collaborative and global.
