The CEIBS Alumni Reunion & 2025 Annual Forum was held today on the school’s Shanghai campus, bringing together an exceptional line-up of company founders and CEOs, Nobel Laureates, academics, and cultural figures to explore topics ranging from AI and life sciences to culture under the theme “Foresight Begins with Insight.”

October 30, 2025. Shanghai - The Case Centre announced its Impact Index 2025 today, with China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) ranking 20th globally, marking its third consecutive year on the list. CEIBS is also the only business school based on the Chinese mainland to be featured in the ranking.

The CEIBS EMBA programme held a grand celebration marking its 30th anniversary at its Shanghai campus on October 19, bringing together over 700 alumni to reflect on three decades of remarkable growth and impact.

As the world marks the 10th anniversary of the landmark Paris Agreement, CEIBS today welcomed Laurent Fabius, former Prime Minister of France and President of the COP21 Paris Climate Conference—which directly resulted in the historic accord—for a keynote address entitled “Climate Diplomacy in the 21st Century: Lessons from the Paris Agreement for China, Europe, and the World.”

China and Iceland possess complementary strengths and large potential for collaboration despite their vast difference in size, according to remarks made by President of Iceland Halla Tómasdóttir during an event on the CEIBS Shanghai campus today. President Tómasdóttir was accompanied by Thórir Ibsen, Ambassador of Iceland to China.

The CEIBS Global EMBA (GEMBA) programme has been ranked #2 in the world in the Financial Times 2025 Executive MBA Ranking, marking its sixth consecutive year among the global top two and its fourth consecutive year as the world’s highest-ranked stand-alone EMBA programme.

“Corporates today are increasingly becoming multinational, and the difference between multinational and global is you now select and decide,” said Bain & Company Chairman Manny Maceda at a CEIBS Executive Forum on the school’s Shanghai campus today.

The 8th CEIBS Finance and Accounting Symposium was held on June 27, 2025, at the CEIBS Shanghai campus. The event brought together more than 80 scholars from top universities in the US, Europe, and Asia to discuss current issues at the intersection of finance, accounting, economics, and politics.
