Stephen has two decades of experience as a strategic advisor in China and Europe. His focus is on the healthcare sector, from biopharmaceuticals through medical technology to services.

He has advised on organic and digital growth investments as well as partnering and M&A situations, working with some of the largest investors and most complex multinational healthcare enterprises in the world, as well as smaller innovative startups. He also works with governments and industry associations.

Stephen has been invited to share his perspectives on China’s healthcare industry development at various industry gatherings including Healthcare Business International and Healthcare Capital and Connections conferences, as well as published in various journals including In Vivo, China Business Review, Bioworld, Orthoknow, Medtech Dive and Healthcare Nova.

Stephen joined L.E.K. in Europe, and has supported L.E.K.’s growth in China since 2005. He holds a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
