Shirley Lu was born in Suzhou, which is famous for its Classical Gardens and Beauties. After high school, she moved to the United States to major in Accounting, Finance and International Business. 

Shirley graduated with honors from the Ohio State University and she got her certificate of Certified Public Accountant in Illinois. Shirley started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers Shanghai office as an auditor, mostly focusing on real estate and manufacturing industries. She was promoted to senior associate and learned a great deal about corporate finance and business operation in the international market. After three peak seasons at PwC, Shirley left to join her family business that supplies high-quality customized silicon and plastic products to medical, electrical and automotive industries. With her efforts, a new business unit focusing exclusively on healthcare industry was developed, which lead to substantial increase in sales.

Shirley is passionate about drama and she plays an important role in a drama studio. As an actress and director, Shirley gives performances on stages in Suzhou and Shanghai, with plans to attend performances in Wuzhen Theatre Festival in the near future. Also, Shirley is an amateur photographer and model. She loves to travel, dive and all the other fun activities!
