Ivan is a self-driven person with a strong multicultural background, and he has accumulated over six years of working experience in audit, corporate banking, and entrepreneurship.

Being a Chinese American born in California, he was brought back to Hong Kong while still an infant. He then moved back to Los Angeles at age 12 and studied there until after finishing college. Graduated from University of Southern California with a double major in Accounting and Finance, Ivan has earned the credentials of CPA and FRM, and is currently working on the CFA exam. His professional career started with Deloitte in Hong Kong, where he worked as an Audit Associate for about two years. He was then invited by his friend to start up a trading company of dietary supplement products. The company has obtained the distribution right of a brand "Nature's Bounty", and has then been doing business with the major pharmaceutical retail channels in Hong Kong. Due to partnership complications, Ivan left the company after a year and had moved on to work in the banking industry. Since then, he has worked as an Assistant Relationship Manager and a Relationship Manager for Standard Chartered Bank and Hang Seng Bank respectively.
