Apricot Wilson is a finance professional with a particular interest in impact investment. Before starting her MBA, she worked as an Assistant Investment Manager at the Luxembourg Microfinance and Development Fund, a boutique fund specializing in financial inclusion in frontier markets. Apricot studied languages at St. Catharine's College, University of Cambridge. Upon graduation, she completed a Chinese language and culture course at Tsinghua University, before doing an internship with the education policy unit of UNESCO Bangkok. Following this, she joined the investment
graduate scheme at Aberdeen Asset Management. She has also spent some time working for startups in London.
Apricot has completed the Investment Management Certificate, all 3 levels of the CFA program and Frankfurt School's Certified Expert in Microfinance course. She also has considerable international experience, having lived and worked in the UK, France, Italy, China, Thailand, the USA and Luxembourg. She is used to working in English, Italian, French and Spanish and hopes to achieve full professional proficiency in Chinese while studying at CEIBS. Apricot has many interests including travelling, learning languages and writing. She had been published in the Financial Times and several Luxembourg publications.
