A native of California, Yuni's alma mater is the University of California, Berkeley. She holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, a certificate in Economics and Political Science from the Institut d'Études Politiques (Sciences-Po), Paris, and a M.Sc. in Management (Grande École) from HEC Paris. Prior to Shanghai, Yuni has resided in Paris, San Francisco and Los Angeles. She is fluent in English, French and mandarin Chinese.
In 2011, Yuni joined BNP Paribas' Corporate & Institutional Banking division as an investment banking analyst. Her mandates included the disposal of Lafarge assets in South Africa and the defense of Hermes against investor activism. She moved on to Goldman Sachs's Equity Capital Markets team in 2012, supporting clients in France, Belgium and Luxembourg, and ultimately joined Morgan Stanley's Mergers & Acquisitions team in Paris covering EMEA. During her tenure at Morgan Stanley, she acquired extensive experience in cross-border, restructuring, defense and infrastructure transactions. Notably serving as point person in an infrastructure P2P mandate, involving over €14 billion of assets across Europe.
In her spare time, Yuni is passionate about cuisine, traveling, marathons and triathlons. Recently, she completed the Boston marathon and the Ironman triathlon in Melbourne.
