CEIBS eLab Connects with MBA 2018 Entrepreneurs

Sept 2, 2016. Shanghai – Quoting Renaissance inventor Leonardo Da Vinci, Director of CEIBS eLab and Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship Vincent Chang kicked off a session held today to introduce the school’s entrepreneurship platform to the MBA Class of 2018.

“I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do,” quoted Prof. Chang. He then told the students they should adopt the same mindset as Da Vinci in their own entrepreneurship pursuits.  “We are not learning by research, we are learning by doing,” Prof. Chang said.
Prospective eLab particpants can choose from two programmes. The four-month Boot Camp, held once a year, focuses on classroom training to give students an understanding of how to run a business. Boot Camp participantss are not required to have a concrete business idea.
Those with a venture already in mind can apply to the eLab IDEA incubator programme Batch 3, which helps participants launch their ideas. Students must apply in order to join this bi-annual programme.

“Irrespective of which stage in the development of your entrepreneurship journey you are in we are here to support you,” said Professor of Entrepreneurship S. Ramakrishna Velamuri.
