After graduating high school at Milton Academy in Boston, Don attended Emory University, where he double majored in finance and economics. While at Emory Don was the 2nd best javelin thrower in school history, as well as a co-president of the Alternative Investments Group and a research assistant.

After graduating from Emory, Don was a Mergers and Acquisitions analyst for The Blackstone Group. Afterwards, Don was an investment professional with Arsenal Capital, a $2.8 billion private equity firm concentrating on chemicals and specialty materials. While at Arsenal, Don executed private equity transactions and supported portfolio companies with financial and business analysis.

Don most recently was a founding partner of JAD Capital, a private equity firm specializing on U.S. investments in agriculture, wastewater, and air pollution technology. In his career Don has completed 16 acquisitions, sales, refinancings, and strategic reviews with a combined value of ~$9 billion, and has been a Board Observer at 6 companies across a variety of industries.

Don is passionate about investing and is working to better understand the Chinese market, and the best way to utilize eastern and western strengths. In his spare time, Don enjoys reading, sports, traveling, and learning about new businesses and technologies.
