Born in Calgary, Canada, Wesley kept busy at an early stage. At the age of 9, he supported his family-owned pizzeria and upon entering university, joined the army reserves as a communications specialist, concurrently obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Wesley partook in various military operations throughout Canada and worked for energy corporations such as Apache
and Canadian Natural. He recently passed Level I of the CFA program.

Upon graduation, Wesley joined Murphy Oil as a petroleum engineer. He was responsible for discovering opportunities through economic evaluations and technical research. At Murphy Oil, he rotated through various engineering, business, and planning roles, responsible for building financial models, R&D, software integration and appraising energy projects. During the energy crisis in 2014, Wesley was recognized as a key member in marketing the divestiture and expansion of core assets and was promoted to a project engineer to provide technical leadership for the dry-gas asset in Canada.

In addition, Wesley currently manages 8 residential properties and plans to develop a mixed commercial-residential property in the near future. He is a strong believer in continuous learning and being well-rounded. Wesley is keen on personal fitness, and enjoys trekking mountains or working on his motorcycle.
