February 28th, 2017. Shanghai — Six enthusiastic entrepreneurs pitched their business models today to a panel of judges that included CEIBS faculty and the MBA community at a Demo Day organized by CEIBS eLab and the IT and data-based startup incubator DTMatrix. Four of the startup ventures came from CEIBS eLab and two were from DTMATRIX.

Each entrepreneur had five minutes to present their company and business idea during the event, which was held on the Shanghai Campus. Judges raised challenging questions and offered their insightful advice to the entrepreneurs, encouraging them to think more deeply about their business models. CloudExceed - Deyan HUANG (DTMATRIX)
CloudExceed provides a solution for companies managing remote employees, enabling work away from office while ensuring work quality and accessibility to office resources. By resolving the pain points experienced with remote workers, CloudExceed allows companies to overcome management difficulties and enables better performance evaluations of remote employees.  

BeneFit Innovative Healthy Diet - Flavia ZHONG (CEIBS MBA 2018)
BeneFit is a social innovation that helps consumers have healthier lifestyles. Combining online and offline components, BeneFit offers an app that generates a customized menu for users, and has a physical restaurant that offers the food recommended by the app.  The restaurant will also promote social activities and campaigns to help consumers improve the lives of others while also improving themselves.

Cloudpense.com - Yang YU (DTMATRIX)
Cloudpense.com is designed to simplify expense management for enterprises. As electronic invoices become more ubiquitous and companies face rising administrative costs to handle hundreds and thousands of receipts and reimbursements, this customizable expense management system can help to greatly reduce the time and costs involved. Cloudpense.com has already established strategic partnerships with various companies in several industries, including Ctrip Corporate Travel and DiDi Corporate.

Herein Office - Eding YI (CEIBS eLab)
Herein Office provides an innovative app that simplifies the process of registration for offices and events. With easily customizable platforms and quick-print name tags, Herein simplifies and facilitates the information exchange process and assists event organizers and companies to better manage the profiles of attendees and visitors.

Easimarine易致云海 - Yongjiang LIU (EMBA 2014)
Easimarine aims to create a more transparent system for the traditional shipyard industry. Easimarine takes an innovative approach to the shipyard industry’s RFQ process by utilizing cloud computing technology and creating an online platform that allows industry members to more easily obtain quotations and discover business opportunities.

Cwine - Jasmine LIU (CEIBS MBA 2018)
Cwine helps Chinese consumers discover and choose the wines they need. With a combined offering of a wine selection virtual assistant, an e-commerce platform, and a wine catering service provider, Cwine aims to provide wine-related education and services while simplifying the wine selection decision-making process.
