Yang, Yu

Visiting Assistant Professor of Management, CEIBS

Yu Yang is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Management at the China Europe International Business School. Prior to joining the faculty at CEIBS, Dr. Yang received his Ph.D. in social psychology at the University of Southern California, and taught negotiations for two years as a Postdoctoral Fellow of Management and Organisations at the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University.

Dr. Yang is interested in examining basic principles of personality and social psychology and applying such principles to organisational and social settings. His on-going work investigates the ways in which people perceive, compete, collaborate, and negotiate with individuals from other cultures. Dr. Yang’s work has appeared in academic journals such as Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Psychological ReviewJournal of Research in PersonalitySocial and Personality Psychology CompassAsian Journal of Social PsychologyChinese Social Psychological Review, and Merrill-Palmer Quarterly. He has served as guest editor and editorial board member of Chinese Social Psychological Review, ad hoc reviewer for Journal of PersonalityJournal of Research in PersonalityPLoS ONEAsian Journal of Social Psychology, Management and Organization Review, and reviewer for the United States-Israel Binational Science Foundation.
