Alumni of the CEIBS-Michigan Ross School of Business Joint Diploma in Management Programme (DIMP) gathered on March 3, the eve of the Chinese Lantern Festival, in Beijing for the "2007 DIMP Day - New Year's Party". The event was successfully held in Tongzeyuan Restaurant in Zhongguancun, Beijing where more than 30 alumni of both 2005 and 2006 DIMP Programmes gathered to get reacquainted and share the joys of the Lantern Festival.
The event kicked off with the "CEIBS 2006" video capturing CEIBS' achievements of 2006. Deeply moved by the brilliant achievements documented in the video, the alumni applauded repeatedly to express their excitement and pride.
The event then moved into games which was divided into three sessions: "Give me your hand", "Give me your luck" and "Give me your touch". During the game, the players were required to collect ten lucky items including "a CEIBS logo- learn more", "a grey hair- work harder", "an ID photo- grow more" and so on. Each item embodied a wish for a better year, and warm friendship. Alumni representatives from each of the two classes expressed their sincere desire for the classmates to maintain contact and encourage each other's career development.
The "DIMP Day" event aims to strengthen the bond with the participants of the DIMP programme as well as their connection to CEIBS. Past activities of 2006 include a visit to the ancient Tanzhesi Temple in the suburb of Beijing and to Zhongguancun Software Park, where the CEIBS Beijing campus will be located.
