The Award Ceremony of CCTV 2006 Chinese Business Figures was held in Beijing on Jan. 20. Dong Mingzhu, an alunma of CEIBS-HBS-IESE Joint Global CEO programme, and president of Gree Electric Appliances Inc. was successfully elected as one of the top 10 Chinese business figures of 2006.  The annual awarding of CCTV Chinese Business Figures has been the flagship of CCTV Financial Channel since 2000. The key criteria of 2006 have been "Innovation, Responsibility, Influence and Motivation".

Dong Mingzhu joined the CEIBS-HBS-IESE Joint Global CEO programme in 2006. CEIBS launched the Global CEO Programme in 2006 together with Harvard and IESE to meet the burgeoning demand of Chinese enterprises for enriching their global mindset. The faculty team for this Programme consisted of leading professors from the three schools. Their constructive instructions, interactive teaching approach and thorough discussion in management had helped the participants build a creative thinking pattern.
