Oct. 23, 2006, Shanghai. In the global EMBA program survey that is just released today by the London-based Financial Times, CEIBS is again ranked highly. This is the sixth time that the Financial Times has conducted EMBA programs survey, and is also the sixth time that CEIBS EMBA is ranked among the top-50 EMBA programs in the world. Among the programs ranked by FT as in the Global Top-20's, four are conducted in China. President of CEIBS, professor Pedro Nueno said that " this is a clear indication that the overall quality of management education in China has risen to a new height and we are very happy to see the progress that China has made. "

CEIBS EMBA is one of the four "Global Top-20" programs conducted in China. Among the four, two are independent programs (CEIBS and HK Chinese U.), one is a joint venture (Kellogg and HKUST), and one is imported (run by Washington University/Olin). Among schools in the "Global Top 20" EMBA list, CEIBS is the youngest. CEIBS also runs the largest EMBA program among all the top schools, with an annual admission of 630 students; the second largest EMBA program is run by Columbia university, with an annual admission of 310 students.
