Internet Securities, Inc. was founded in 1994 and acquired by Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC in 1999. It delivers hard-to-get information on more than 80 emerging markets through its award-winning online Emerging Markets Information Service. It aggregates and produces unique content from more than 13,000 local and global publications, including full-text news articles, financial statements, company information, industry analyses, equity quotes, macroeconomic statistics, and market-specific information.
Brian de Lacy joined ISI Emerging Markets as Chief Operating Officer in June 1999 and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in October of 2002. Prior to joining ISI, Brian spent 17 years at Reuters starting in sales based in South Africa and then moving via sales management into P&L management based in the United States of America.
Brian attended university in South Africa and is a graduate of the Boston University Graduate School of Management where he received his MBA. He has been a director of ISI since June 1999.
Brian will share the successful story of ISI Emerging Markets and will be available to answer questions from the CEIBS students.
