Dear friends,
We cordially invite you to attend CEIBS Executive Forum on 21st November, presented by Dr. Zhu Min, deputy governor of the Bank of China, "Trends and Challenges of Global Economic Financialization".
In the new century, global economy trends to financialization more and more. The role of government in financial market has been increasingly weakened. Furthermore, with the concentration of financial assets into the U.S., the global economy is more and more dominated by few rich people. As a result, global finance has taken on a new look: global economic and financial integration, global excess liquidity, sharp increase of global financial assets, intense concentration of wealth, continuing imbalance of global economy and finance, and so forth. All of the above will have impact on our investment decisions.
Dr. Zhu is deputy governor of the Bank of China (BOC), and adjunct professor of CEIBS. He holds his MPA degree from Woodrow Wilson School, Princeton University and PhD degree in Economics from Johns Hopkins University. He is also deputy director of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, executive vice president of the International Finance Association of China, member of the GSB Global Advisory Board of Chicago University, member of the National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science, member of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, standing director of Western Returned Scholars Association. He was previously an economist in the World Bank (Headquarters in the USA), and a faculty member of Johns Hopkins University and Fudan University. Dr. Zhu has more than a hundred publications on international economy and finance, and has been invited to numerous international forums and conferences, including the World Economic Forum, APEC, etc.
