  Description

In January 2006, the Chinese government enacted a series of Renewable Energy Laws setting China on the path to energy efficiency by exploring the scope of renewable energies to work toward a more sustainable development. China’s energy consumption per unit of GDP dropped by 1.23% in 2006, which was the first such decline in energy use since 2003. The current Five-Year Plan ambitiously aims at 20% reduction in energy use per unit of GDP by 2010.  CEIBS now invites you to attend tan Executive Forum on Renewable Energy to hear about the practices and experiences from Enel (www.enel.it), one of the largest power companies and SNIACE (www.sniace.com), a leading industrial, power and production company in Europe.
