Mr. Antonio Hernandez
Chief Strategy Officer of INTERES

He is a member of the official Spanish Body of Economists and Trade Advisers since 1991. He got his degree in Economics and Business by Madrid "Universidad Complutense" and Phd candidate in Applied Economy by "Universidad de Alcala de Henares" (Madrid).

Formerly he has assumed different charges in the Spanish public administration among which the following stand out: Deputy General for Foreign Sector Analysis and Competitiveness in the Industry, Tourism and Trade Ministry (2003-2005); Economic and Commercial Counsellor, Head of the Commercial Section in the Spanish Embassy in Iran, Tehran (1999-2003); Economic and Commercial Counsellor, Head of the Commercial Section in the Spanish Embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria (1997-1999); Deputy General Director of Public Debt and Finance Legislation for the Spanish Treasury within the Ministry of Economy (1991-1997).
