 Mr. Coffin is Chief Executive Officer of CCG Investor Relations, one of the largest independent investor relations agencies in the United States. As an investor relations professional of 25 years' experience, Mr. Coffin is a senior advisor to numerous publicly held and private companies in a broad range of industries including healthcare, communications technologies, financial services, leisure and e-commerce. He has assisted numerous clients in various corporate finance matters including more than 150 initial public offerings and follow-on financings, and has counseled and participated in a broad range of mergers and acquisitions.

 During this session, Mr. Coffin will share with us his insights into the importance of high quality corporate governance for foreign issuers and how to build a communication system that includes a strong component of high quality disclosure and transparency.

Mr. Coffin is Chief Executive Officer of CCG Investor Relations, and has been an investor relations counselor for more than 25 years.  As an investor relations professional, Mr. Coffin is a senior advisor to numerous publicly held and private companies in a broad range of industries including healthcare, communications technologies, financial services, leisure and e-commerce.  Mr. Coffin has assisted numerous clients in various corporate finance matters including more than 150 initial public offerings and follow-on financings, and has counseled and participated in a broad range of mergers and acquisitions. 

BACKGROUND AS PROFESSOR AND LECTURER

Mr. Coffin has been a professor and lecturer in advanced economic communication theory for a number of years. Mr. Coffin designed and taught a graduate class in Financial Communications to Graduate Business and English students at Pepperdine University in Malibu California. Such class was designed as a multidisciplinary effort to upgrade the knowledge and skills of Business and English graduates advancing towards an MBA degree, and entering the financial community workforce.

Mr. Coffin has been a regular lecturer at the UCLA Anderson School of Business, and the Marshall School of Business at the University Of Southern California (USC). There Mr. Coffin has taught Best Practices in Investor Communications Theory and Practice. In addition Mr. Coffin has lectured at several of the California State University campuses (CSU System). The CSU System is the largest University System in California with 23 campuses, and graduates the largest number of credentialed teachers in the United States. For two years Mr. Coffin was Chairman of the California State University Foundation which raises and distributes over $250 million to the various campuses.

As an advisor on Best Practices on Modern Corporate Governance, Mr. Coffin has been part of the USC Marshall School "Corporate Governance Program" which, once a year, hosts a symposium of the best practitioners on the subject. Participating in the annual event are representatives of the New York Stock Exchange, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Accounting Standards Board.

NON PROFIT SERVICE

Mr. Coffin is currently the Chairman of the Board of the California Council on Economic Education (CCEE). The CCEE is the largest organization in the state of California which provides a broad range of economic and financial literacy programs to kindergarten to high school teachers who, in turn, teach their students. On the board of the CCEE are leaders from business, industry and government including representatives from the Federal Reserve Bank Board.

CCG INVESTOR RELATIONS

CCG Investor Relations is one of the largest independent investor relations agencies in the country, providing a full range of investor relations services to publicly held corporations, as well as privately held corporations intending to go public.

The principal services of the agency include: public disclosure and corporate governance advice, preparation of shareholder reports, corporate website design, crisis management, corporate media, and institutional investor targeting and contact.

Through its partnership with CCG Elite in Hong Kong, the agency is also a fast growing participant in the Asia marketplace. In Hong Kong, the agency has a well established presence with 10 professionals and in Beijing a growing presence with three professionals.

Mr. Coffin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles, and participated in the MBA program in the Anderson Business School at UCLA.
