Thursday May 15, Dr. Robert Tzu-I Ma, Vice President of McDonald's Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, will deliver a speech in CEIBS Executive Forum to present you the McDonald's Supply Chain Management Philosophy and how to build and manage Supply Chain in a Quick Service Restaurant.

Dr. Ma has been working in McDonald's as VP since 1989 and previously he held several senior management positions at Cathay Food Consulting Company Inc., Lucky Vineland Enterprises Inc. Quaker Oats Company and General Mills Inc., etc.

•Manage and support all supplies for over 7,500 restaurants in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa zone.
•Manage over 2 billion U.S. dollars purchasing power.
•Product leader in beverage and produce.
•Established Supply Chain system in China.
•Conduct business review with multi-national suppliers.
•Train staff and suppliers in philosophy, effective meeting, cost management, communication, presentation, expectation process and others.

1984-1989
President, Cathay Food Consulting Company, Inc.

Responsibilities include:
•Food technology transfer to Asia countries.
•Provided investment and joint venture opportunities.  Bridging the gap between U.S. and Far East countries.

1981-1984
President, Lucky Vineland Enterprises Inc.
Vice President, L and F Trading Company Inc. D/B/A Willworth Pickle Co.

Responsibilities include:
•All aspects of a wholesale food distributor business.
•Operation of a pickle and herring manufacturing business.

•New product development and exploratory research.
•Technical service in Pet Food International and Food Division.
