The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) was established in 1994 in Shanghai to make a unique contribution in China's integration into the world economy, and especially to its commercial and industrial links with the European Union. Its mission is the education of highly competent, internationally oriented managers, working within the Chinese environment.
CEIBS has earned an excellent reputation as the leading professional management school in China, and as one of the highest ranked business school in the Asia-Pacific Region. Thirty faculty, and close to one hundred visiting faculty every year provide for a genuinely multinational education and research environment.
Its role as a bridge between Europe and China gives CEIBS a status of international prominence and responsibility. We continuously strive to develop and foster strategic, long-term partnerships with leading international business schools, who share our vision for China. We also seek to provide international study opportunities for our students through exchange agreements with leading business schools overseas, to stimulate and facilitate international research projects of interest to Chinese business and economy, and to attract international faculty to the excitement of living and working in 21st century China.
