One school, three campuses, across five locations. That’s the ‘new normal’ at CEIBS since the October addition of a campus in Zurich, Switzerland – making it number three after Shanghai and Beijing. But what’s really beyond the 1-3-5 buzzword? What does it mean for CEIBS to have a base in Europe? How will this benefit our students and alumni? And how does this expansion across the waters to Europe fit into the school’s long-term internationalisation strategy?
The new campus is already buzzing with activity. In late November 2015 it was the venue for what has now become a CEIBS signature event, the European Alumni Reunion. Then a few weeks later it hosted the always eagerly anticipated CEIBS CEO Summit. We bring you highlights from both events in this Cover Story. We also take a look at the events planned for next year as CEIBS ramps up its activities in other cities across Europe. To wrap up, we look at the finer details of the deal that made the Lorange Institute of Business Zurich (LIBZ) part of the CEIBS family, with the school’s four presidents weighing in for the official press release issued globally to announce the historic step, and the tough questions asked and answered in a follow-up Q&A.
