CEIBS Foundation Receives Donation from ENCH Industry

Shanghai campus - More than 1,600 VIP guests, corporate partners, government officials, and CEIBS alumni, students and employees attended CEIBS' spectacular New Year Concert 2008 this evening, entitled "Wison Night at the Shanghai Grand Theatre." CEIBS Receives MBA Scholarships from OMNICOM Group
   
January 22, 2008. Shanghai campus -- CEIBS today announced that leading global advertising and marketing group Omnicom has awarded scholarships to three currently enrolled MBA students. The winning students were selected through an essay competition on the theme of environmental sustainability. First prize went to Xu Yazhi, second prize to Li Jun, and third prize to Zhang Xiaoning. read

Two Shanghai-based business school have been listed in the world's top 100 Master of Business Administration programs by British newspaper The Financial Times this year. The MBA program at China Eruope International Business School, an independent school jointly set up by the Shanghai city government and the European Union, took the top position in Asia and 11th place in the world. South China Morning Post -- City business course makes world top 20    
 
China Europe International Business School in Shanghai ranked highest in Asia, taking 11th place for the second year in a row. It is a joint venture between Beijing and the European Union and was established in 1994. The only other mainland business school to make the listing was the Antai College of Economics and Management, at Shanghai Jiaotong University, which was placed 41st. Full Article

The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton school topped the survey, followed by the London Business School, Columbia in New York, Stanford in California and Harvard Business School in Boston. The China Europe International Business School - with campuses in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen - was the first in the Asia Pacific region to appear on the table, in 11th position. Omnicom Group -- Omnicom Establishes MBA Scholarship Awards in China    
 
The first recipients of the scholarship awards were announced today at a ceremony held at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai, where the students are enrolled. Three students were selected through an essay contest on the theme of environmental sustainability. In addition to the scholarships, Omnicom will also make a financial contribution to the CEIBS student activity fund to support CEIBS student teams' participation in global MBA competitions.
