Human Relations Names Prof. Tae-Yeol Kim Reviewer of the Year

November 16, 2017. Shanghai – CEIBS Professor of Management Tae-Yeol Kim has received the Reviewer of the Year Award 2017 from the journal Human Relations. The award is given to the person who has made the most outstanding contribution to the journal in terms of the number, quality and turnaround time of reviews completed in the past 12 months.

The journal is one of the 50 used by the Financial Times in compiling the FT Research Rank that is part of its global business school rankings. It is an international peer-reviewed journal publishing high quality original research that aims to advance our understanding of social relationships at and around work through theoretical development and empirical investigation.

Prof. Kim’s current research mainly focusses on organizational justice, cross-cultural psychology, creativity, leadership, proactivity, and person-environment fit. He is the winner of the 2017 CEIBS Medal for Research Excellence, and he was the recipient of the 2012 CEIBS Research Excellence Award. He received the Emerald Citations of Excellence in 2015 and 2016 and was named among Elsevier’s 2015 list of World’s Most Cited Chinese Researchers.

His work has been published in several academic journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Relations, and Journal of Business Venturing. He serves as a board member at Human Relations, as well as Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Vocational Behavior, and Management and Organization Review
