CEIBS Open MBA Lecture - Bangalore

Join our Exclusive Lecture for MBA prospects in Bangalore with CEIBS Professor of Entrepreneurship Ramakrishna Velamuri.

In recent times, a large number of food based entrepreneurial ventures such as fine dining, casual dining and quick-service restaurant chains have been set up by highly educated entrepreneurs, including those with MBA degrees. Often, the entrepreneurs manage to make the first few outlets function satisfactorily, both from the operational and financial points of view. However, they struggle to scale the business into a large chain of outlets spanning multiple cities and regions. In this session, Prof. Velamuri will discuss the growth challenges facing Mr. Tsai, the founder of the Ichido chain of bakeries in China, and provide insights into how they can be surmounted.
