1st CEMS Annual Emerging Market Forum

The 1st CEMS Annual Emerging Market Forum is an official event that aims at bridging the academia in the most advanced studies in Emerging Markets and the corporates and practitioners who have major interests in emerging markets: senior managers of MNCs and emerging market multinationals share with the scholars the challenges and issues their companies encounters in emerging markets; scholars shares with corporates the most pioneering knowledge and research outputs regarding emerging markets, and the nuances between different emerging market regions. Via this event, the Center also expects to identify the most relevant and impactful emerging market research topics/questions for future research activities.

Center Introduction:
Based in Shanghai, the internationally famed metropolis, CEIBS Center for Emerging Market Studies (CEMS) is a global network-based think tank dedicated to the study of managerial and economic issues on emerging markets. As a global network of prominent scholars, research centers, institutions, and corporate partners, CEMS provides high-impact research that addresses critical questions about emerging market development.

  • Please register for the 1st CEMS Annual Emerging Market Forum by filling out your information.
  • The Deadline of RSVP for the center related scholars is 23:59, July 14, 2017, Beijing Time. The registration will be closed after deadline.
  • It is HIGHLY recommended to purchase your flights in and out of Shanghai BEFORE registering.  For details, please refer to the “1st CEMS Annual Emerging Market Forum Handbook”.
  • If you are not sure about your attendance, itinerary or schedule before the deadline (July 14), please contact Ms. Roxy Luo lroxy@ceibs.edu AFTER the registration is closed.

Invited corporate guests and representatives (including Corporate Partners):

  • Online registration will be available between Friday, July 17 and Friday, August 18.
  • In order to control and maintain event quality, there will be requirements on the participants’ title and responsibilities, as well as the number of representatives each company can send. Details will be released before the registration opens.
  • The event is free for invited corporate guests and representatives.

Alumni and other outside guests

  • Online registration will be available between Friday, August 21 and Friday, September 22.
  • In order to control and maintain event quality, all Alumni participants and other outside guests can only register for the event as a representative of his/her company/organization. We do NOT accept individual registration.
  • Ticket information will be available before the registration opens.
