July 15, 2010 -- The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) is collaborating with three other top Asia business schools to recruit high calibre students in Europe and North America. This groundbreaking initiative, a response to the growing interest in studying in Asia, will see -- for the first time ever -- Asia's Top 4 four b-schools engaged in promotional activities as a group.
CEIBS is joined by HKUST Business School in Hong Kong, Indian School of Business (ISB), and NTU Nanyang Business School in Singapore. All are ranked within the Top 30 in this year's Financial Times rankings.
Located in the most dynamic and influential cities in growing economies, these four business schools share the same passion for excellence in business education in Asia and aim to develop leaders with a deep understanding of the region. As a sign of the schools' commitment to the initiative, one Dean from each institution signed the Memorandum of Understanding that facilitated the coalition.
Said CEIBS Dean and Vice President Professor Rolf D. Cremer, "More business, and consequently more wealth, is moving from West to East each year. Some 139 of the global Fortune 500 are now based in Asia, a 10 percent increase from 2008 to 2009. Despite the global financial crisis, Asia is growing at an astonishing rate."
