May 5, 2009. Shanghai -- A group of 21 second-year MBA students from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business visited CEIBS Shanghai campus today.

After being officially greeted by Dean's Office Deputy Director Claudia Schaefer and Secretary of the MBA 2008 Student Committee Jitesh Jaipuriyar, the group from the U.S-based school spent the next two-and-a-half hours in discussions about CEIBS -- and China in general. Their visit wrapped up with an informal lunch with CEIBS MBA students, providing both sides an opportunity to further share their experiences.

Like their CEIBS counterparts, the visiting Duke students have very diverse backgrounds: from a national semi-finalist in Miss Teen California to candidates who have performed brain surgery. The group members said they found the CEIBS experience very helpful and were quite impressed with growth stories about Asia, in general, and China in particular.

In the Financial Times Global MBA rankings for 2009, CEIBS MBA programme ranks highly in international experience (#12). CEIBS also and has exchange partnerships with more than 30 leading business schools, most of which are among the FT's global top 100.

Over the years, many students from top business schools have visited the CEIBS campus. With China's increasing relevance and impact on the global economic landscape, there has been an acceleration in the frequency of these visits. Students who choose to participate in exchange programmes that take them to CEIBS benefit from diversifying their business-knowledge base and immersing themselves in a different culture.
