August 15, 2008. Shanghai campus -- Thirty-six students from the CEIBS MBA intake class of 2008 completed the 'Precourse' today.
The Pre-course allows attendees to begin their campus life early with an optional four weeks of intensive English study. The objectives of the Pre-course are to enhance English listening and communication skills and to prepare students for the MBA studying environment. The Pre-course is divided into two groups to ensure that every student has the opportunity to enhance their English skills. During the study period, students use MBA course-related case studies to develop presentations using the new skills they have learnt.

Judging from the feedback of participants, the 2008 succeeded in honing the skills of new CEIBS students. Said MBA 2008 student Joyce Huang: "The Pre-course has improved my listening and oral English skills a lot. It is good preparation for my coming MBA study." The MBA 2008 intake class will begin their formal programme of study at the CEIBS Shanghai campus on Aug. 21st.
