July 17, 2008 -- Shanghai. CEIBS participated in the Shanghai leg of the popular World MBA Tour today, the first event the school's MBA department has participated in for the 2009 intake. CEIBS' involvement in the World MBA Tour follows the successful enrolment of the 2008 class.
During today's event, CEIBS MBA Director Prof. Lydia Price gave an overview of CEIBS followed by interaction with prospective applicants. CEIBS was among global business schools in attendance, such as IESE and INSEAD, as well as other local b-schools such as Fudan University School of Management.
CEIBS attracted an impressive number of prospective applicants, some of whom indicated that their interest had been sparked by the school's excellent reputation and China's booming economy. During the three-hour long event, the CEIBS team distributed leaflets and brochures and answered questions from prospective applicants who needed clarification of points encountered during their pre-event research on CEIBS. A team of CEIBS alumni, MBA students and admission counsellors effectively fielded the questions raised and also shared their experiences at CEIBS.
World MBA Tour is a globally recognised expo in the field of Business Administration Education. It is held in approximately 50 cities around the world.
For the recently concluded CEIBS' 2008 MBA intake, there were a record number of applicants who have outstanding educational backgrounds and work experience. The 2009 intake will be launched in September. For further information, please call the CEIBS Admission Office at 021-2890 5555 or visit our website at http://www.ceibs.edu/mba/index.shtml.
