May 11, 2008. Shanghai - The China Europe International Business School today officially launched a new monthly business journal, the CEIBS Business Review. During a spectacular two-hour ceremony that brought together 130 movers and shakers of the business world, high ranking government officials, and members of the media, CEIBS Publishing unveiled its newest publication.

CEIBS President Zhu Xiaoming delivered a congratulatory speech

The afternoon began with a congratulatory address by CEIBS Executive President Pedro Nueno who gave a commitment that the CEIBS Management Committee would throw its full support behind CBR. Prof. Nueno expressed the hope that the magazine will play a significant role in not only generating revenue for the school but also in helping shape China's business world.

Prof. Nueno's opening address was then followed by a congratulatory speech by CEIBS President Zhu Xiaoming. Afterward, CEIBS Dean and Vice President Rolf D. Cremer, and CEIBS Vice President and Co-Dean Zhang Weijiong took to the stage to orchestrate the formal unveiling of the inaugural edition of CBR. The two deans touched a replica of a traditional Chinese Wei Qi board to signify the birth of the publication. That was the cue for a mini-fireworks display, with confetti swirling down around a giant mock up of the debut issue of CBR. The 160-page Chinese language magazine rolled out Issue #1 earlier this month.
