December 22, 2007 - Eight Taiwanese CEIBS MBA 2007 students, who have made it their goal to attract more Taiwanese students to CEIBS, held an information session at the National Taiwan University Convention Centre in Taipei today.

The event was also supported by the CEIBS EMBA Alumni Taiwan Chapter, as well as the MBA Alumni in Taipei. It attracted more than 40 participants from diverse backgrounds; there were accountants, advertising executives, HR specialists and journalists.

The forum offered an opportunity for audience members to deepen their understanding of the CEIBS admission process and campus life. Much of the discussion session was dedicated to students and alumni sharing their China experiences, thus providing an insightful understanding of what CEIBS refers to as "The China Advantage". The MBA Alumni then discussed employment opportunities and post-MBA career choices, while CEIBS EMBA Alumni provided a macro perspective of the benefits of being in and working in China, as well as an employer’s perspective on CEIBS students.

Turnout for these information sessions has been growing steadily over the years, an indication of the burgeoning interest of Taiwanese business executives in the China market. The CEIBS MBA programme has become an increasingly popular choice for Taiwanese students, with the numbers rising steadily from two in 2005 to the eight in the 2007 intake.
